Client:

Washington County Water Conservancy District

Description:

The Pah Tempe Pump Back Project consisted of designing a pump station located by the Quail Creek Hydro Plant that delivers river water back to the Pah Tempe Springs area in the summer to cool down the water for the endangered fish species. The project included approximately 221 lineal feet of 30-inch Ductile Iron pipe and appurtenances, and design of the pump station.  For the pump station, two natural gas CAT engines with right angle drives were selected to power the pumps.
