Brent Gardner, PEManaging Principal, Professional Civil EngineerBrent Gardner graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science degree. Mr. Gardner is president of Alpha Engineering and has over 33 years of experience in civil engineering specializing in water related projects. He has been integrally involved with the development of multiple pipeline projects and brings a wealth of experience coordinating with State, Federal and County agencies. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Arizona and Utah. Mr. Gardner was involved with the design and construction management of the Sand Hollow Pipeline and Pump Station, Washington County Water Conservancy District (WCWCD) regional pipeline, the Gunlock to City of St. George irrigation pipeline and the St. George/Washington Canal pipeline. Mr. Gardner has also been the lead project engineer for four hydroelectric projects in Utah and Colorado. |

Glen Carnahan, PEHead of Engineering, Professional Civil EngineerGlen Carnahan graduated from Dixie College in 1997 with an Associate of Science degree. He then attended and graduated from Utah State University in 2001 with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and upon graduation, joined Alpha Engineering. He has a broad range of project experience and has completed numerous jobs for the Washington County School District, Kanab City, the Kane County Water Conservancy District, and various other clients specializing in land development, municipal engineering and review, hydrologic analyses, storm drain and reservoir design. He is proficient in AutoCAD, HEC modeling software, excel, SewerGEMS, WaterGEMS, and other engineering software programs. |

Scott Woolsey, PLSHead of Surveying, Licensed SurveyorScott Woolsey has worked at Alpha Engineering since October of 1996 managing the survey department. In 2007, he became part owner of the Company. Scott has 35+ years of experience as a Land Surveyor specializing in ALTA, Boundary and Property Surveys, as well as GPS Surveys. He has numerous years of experience in all aspects of construction staking. He is proficient in AutoCAD, GPS Surveying software and legal description programs. Scott served as the Kanab City Surveyor and has served as the Kane County Surveyor. |

Jared Madsen, PEProfessional Civil EngineerJared Madsen began working for Alpha Engineering in 2007 upon graduating from Utah State University. He has worked closely with the Washington County School District, Washington County Water Conservancy District, and various other clients specializing in land development, hydrologic analyses, and reservoir design. He is proficient in AutoCAD, ArcView (GIS), HEC modeling software, SewerGEMS, WaterGEMS, and other engineering software programs. |

Todd Gardner, PEProfessional Civil EngineerTodd Gardner began working for Alpha Engineering in 2007 upon graduating from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. He has worked closely with the Washington County Water District and various private clients and specializes in land development, dam construction, hydrologic analyses, and water system design. He is proficient in AutoCAD, HEC modeling software, SewerGEMS, WaterGEMS, and other engineering software programs. He is also a NABCEP certified solar installer and has designed and installed various solar arrays. |

Chad Whiting, PLSLicensed SurveyorChad Whiting has worked at Alpha Engineering since February of 1993. He is the Surveying departments lead crew chief. Chad has 20+ years of experience as a Land Surveyor who specializes in Construction Staking, Property Surveys, topography work, and GPS Surveying. He is proficient in AutoCAD, GPS Surveying software, Total Station Instruments and installation of survey monuments. Chad is the most tenured employee of Alpha Engineering. |

Doug TebbsAccountantDoug Tebbs began working for Alpha Engineering in 2013 after working for a local accounting firm for 8 years. His duties include maintaining Alpha Engineering’s accounting records including the processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll. Doug Tebbs graduated from SUU in 2003 with a MACC and became a CPA in 2008. |
