Description:

The Orderville Hydro Facility project consisted of designing a hydroelectric power generation facility on the existing Orderville pressurized irrigation system. The project included hydroelectric design, site preparation, grading, constructing a reinforced concrete building & tailrace vault, installation of a Gilkes turbine & generator assembly, top riding crane, and mechanical and electrical equipment for the building.  Alpha Engineering provided construction management  and surveying for this project and assisted the Owner with coordination of commissioning and power purchase agreements.
